This Halloween Rainbow Pumpkin 10 Frames Math Center is a great 1 to 1 correspondence activity and a great intro to 10 Frames for Kindergarten and 1st Grade students!

Directions:
Students play with a partner or in small groups.
1. Each student gets a mat.
2. Distribute 10 counters to each student (pumpkin seeds, candy corn, or play-dough balls).
3. Place deck of number 1-10 cards face down in the middle of players.
4. Students take turns flipping over cards. All students must build the number shown on their mats.
My students love the brightly colored pumpkins. Because my school has a no food policy, I have the kids roll play-dough balls for counters, This is great fine-motor practice!
