It’s Raining Ten this April! This April Showers spring math bulletin board set includes:

Umbrella templates: 2 options (1 NO PREP)

Raindrops in sets of 10 (students place some on left side of handle and some on the right to make a 10)

Raindrops to write a number sentence

Bulletin board header lettering that reads, “IT’S RAINING TEN!” as seen in preview photo

Teacher Tips for Assembly:

1. Select your umbrella pattern. Choose from a large umbrella template or one of the NO PREP options.

2. My kids used dot art as a fast and fun way to create beautiful umbrella patterns. Watercolors, crayons, or markers would work great as well. Mount onto paper when dry.

3. Give each student a set of raindrops to cut out. They’ll glue some on the left and some on the right to make a ten.

4. Students write a matching number sentence

5. Print lettering on blue, cut out, and display with umbrellas.

This activity is perfect for pre-k, kindergarten, and 1st grade. It focuses on addition, number composition/ decomposition, math facts, and making a ten.
