Hi, I'm casey

and my heart is in kindergarten!

I’m a busy mom of three, wife to my best friend, and dog mom to our doodle.

I love iced coffee, family time, beach vacations, date nights, photography, cheering on my kids at their sporting events, and teaching five and six year-olds of course!

This school year marks my 20th year in education with 18 of those years in Kindergarten. I truly love what I do. Twenty years in and my goal remains the same – to be the kind of teacher I hope and pray my own children have.

I’ve turned my passion for teaching into the business you see here today. Kindergarten Korner is dedicated to helping you take back your planning time while supporting you and your students with quality instructional materials and fun and engaging ideas.

Fun facts about me

I am a proud mom to three amazing kids, and my awesome husband has been the biggest supporter of my teacher-preneur journey.

The teacher-mom guilt is a struggle for me. I LOVE my job, but I have a hard time with missing things for my own children during the school year.

I took an educational sabbatical for the 2022-23 school year. It was so refreshing to step away for a bit and focus on my family. If you get the chance, do it!

To me, there’s nothing better than a fresh pack of flair pens! I also can’t pass up a sale on classroom storage – Give me all the caddies, tubs and bins in every color!

Teaching is HARD, but I can’t imagine doing anything else! Kindergarten is my favorite grade. The transformation from the beginning of the year to the end is amazing, and I love being part of the process. Plus, you’re always guaranteed one good laugh a day teaching the little ones!

Creating resources that help teachers lights me up in ways I never imagined! Receiving feedback and seeing photos of my resources in your beautiful classrooms is seriously the best feeling ever.
