Hi, I'm casey

I’m a busy mom of three, wife to my best friend, and dog mom to our doodle.

I love iced coffee, family time, beach vacations, date nights, photography, and cheering on my kids at their sporting events.

I’ve spent 17 years in the classroom, and kindergarten has my heart. I turned my passion for teaching into the business you see here today. Kindergarten Korner is dedicated to helping you take back your planning time while supporting you and your students with quality instructional materials and fun and engaging ideas.

Fun facts about me

I am a proud mom to three amazing kids, and my awesome husband has been the biggest supporter of my teacher-preneur journey.

The teacher-mom guilt is a struggle for me. I love my job, but I have a hard time with missing things for my own children during the school year.

I took an educational sabbatical for the 2023-24 school year. It was so refreshing to step away for a bit and focus on my family. If you get the chance, do it!

To me, there’s nothing better than a fresh pack of flair pens! I also can’t pass up a sale on classroom storage – Give me all the caddies, tubs and bins in every color!

I’ve learned the importance of setting boundaries and leaving work at work. Last year, I made it a goal to leave work everyday at 4 p.m. I wish I had done this much sooner. It doesn’t take all the teacher stress away, but it helps!

Creating resources that help teachers lights me up in ways I never imagined! Receiving feedback and seeing photos of my resources in your beautiful classrooms is seriously the best feeling ever.

TPT has changed my life! From paying off my student loans and putting braces on my girls to taking my family on vacations, I’m so grateful that I get to help teachers and my family at the same time. Visit my Teacherpreneur Talk posts to learn more.
