TWOSDAY ACTIVITIES FOR KINDERGARTEN
If you are a kindergarten teacher looking for Twosday Activities, you’ve come to the right place. In case you have not heard, Tuesday, February 22 has been designated as “Twosday.” I wanted to create a resource pack that you can use in your classroom on 2-22.
5 FREE TWOSDAY ACTIVITIES
My Twosday Pack includes 5 Twosday activities designed for learners in kindergarten or first grade.
1. TWOSDAY POSTER
Print the poster of your choice in color, and take pictures of your students holding it. You can also project this on your screen when your students come into the room.
2. TWOSDAY CROWNS
Choose from three choices of crowns. Simply print onto white card stock. Have your students cut and color. Use a sentence strip or a strip of large construction paper to make a headband. You’ve got the perfect accessory for Twosday. I plan on doing this for morning work on Twosday.
3. TWOSDAY COLORING PAGE
Print the Twosday coloring page, and you’ve got instant morning work or art for the special day. This is also a great option to have students work on while you are assembling and stapling the crowns.
4. TWOSDAY MATH NUMBER DECOMPOSITION ACTIVITY
The number of the day is 22. Have your students complete this math page that includes place value, using a hundreds chart, and number sentences.
5. Twosday Writing Prompt
Choose the writing prompt design you like best, copy, and have your students respon to the writing prompt “When I am 22,…”
Happy Twosday!
