Affirmation Stations are gaining popularity in elementary classrooms everywhere, and it’s with good reason! This type of purposeful classroom decor promotes self-love, confidence, and kindness. In this post, I’m sharing how to create an affirmation station in your own classroom.
How to Create an Affirmation Station
When I designed my Watercolors Classroom Theme, I wanted to include a print-and-go Affirmation Station for teachers. Here’s how to set up yours in minutes:
Select Your Header
This resource comes with the Affirmation Station header in four different fonts. First, you’ll choose the version that you like best and print it in color. Here’s the one I went with, and I love how it looks!
Print the Affirmation Circles
Next, you’ll print the affirmation circles, cut, and laminate. There are 36 positive sayings included in different shades of watercolors. A print style font is featured making it easy to read for young learners.
Display with a Mirror
Last, I hung my wall mirror using 3M Strips. I placed the header at the top and scattered the affirmations on the wall around the mirror.
It turned out amazing, and I can’t wait for my kids to see it and use it to remind themselves how special they are each day!
Purchasing Your Affirmation Station
You can purchase this set in my TPT Store or in my Kindergarten Korner Shop Site. If you use this set in your classroom, I would love to see a pic and feature you! Please tag me @kindergartenkornerbycasey on Instagram or email me at email@example.com. Happy Teaching!
