Roll and Record is a great activity for Kindergarten Math Centers, Math Workshop, or Morning Work! Four versions are included for use throughout the ENTIRE YEAR! Perfect for number writing practice. Use as individual sheets or laminate for use as dry-erase mats at your Math Center.
Version 1: Students roll 1 die and record the number rolled working from the bottom to the top of the column. Choose blank format or format with dotted traceable numbers.
Version 2: Students roll a set of dice, add the total, and record the sum working from the bottom to the top of the column. Choose blank format or format with dotted traceable numbers.
I like to use both formats of version 1 at the beginning of the year. I use the formats in the second version once I introduce addition. This version is great for gifted or advanced students as well!
