Distance Learning for Kindergarten

Are you a teacher looking to prep writing packets for remote or distance learning for Kindergarten?  Maybe you are the parent of a kindergarten student, and you are looking for quality writing resources for your child.  The unprecedented situation of schools closing due to the Coronavirus has both parents and teachers looking for ideas to keep the learning going.  Of course, health and safety of our students and families is the number one concern right now.   That being said, keeping children on their routines may help to alleviate the stress and anxiety that they may be experiencing right now.

I have had several parents reach out to me since the announcement that all schools would be closing for at least two weeks.  The kids have worked SO hard this year, and the parents are understandably concerned that their children may now regress with the disruption in learning.  I am here to help!  The learning doesn’t have to stop – we just need to think outside of the box a bit!

Working on Writing

One area I recommend working on during the time off is writing.  This is the time of year when the writing process finally clicks!  As a teacher, I now worry that my students will not continue their progression.  For this reason, I sent home March and April writing journals when our school announced that we were closing.

Two summers ago, I created a JOURNAL WRITING BUNDLE for the ENTIRE YEAR!

Each month includes your choice of cover option plus two versions of 24 writing prompts.  These are perfect for parents to use as distance learning resources, and teachers may use them throughout the entire school year once we can finally return to the classroom!

My Journal Bundle was recently featured in the TPT Blog.  Visit my TPT Store to check out the full preview and read the 5 Star Reviews for yourself!
