7 No Prep April Activities for Kindergarten

It’s almost April, and I am counting the minutes until Spring Break begins.   I try to have everything printed and prepped for after the break so that I can enjoy the time off with my family and not have to worry about school!  I created this print and go bundle with resources for the entire month to help teachers like YOU!  Read more about 7 of my favorite no prep April activities for Kindergarten – perfect for after the break.

You can find all of the activities in my TPT Store sold separately or as part of my April Mega Bundle.

1.  April Writing Journals

Writing for the month of April is printed and prepped in minutes!  This resource includes your choice of covers plus two formats of writing pages complete with a writing checklist.  My monthly journals have been a life saver for me, especially this school year.  Simply choose your cover, print, and staple into packets.  What I love most about having these monthly journals on hand is that we write every single day.  No matter how busy we get, these journals have made it possible to fit writing into our daily schedule.  You can learn more about my writing journals HERE.

2.  April Math Journals

Many of my customers who purchased my monthly writing journals had reached out with the same request. They wanted a similar journal format for math activities for the month.  Ask and you shall receive!  This April Math Journal includes 20 pages of math activities for the month of April in a print and go packet.

3.  April Showers Writing and Bulletin Board Bundle

This is one of my favorite bulletin boards to create.  Students write about what they would do on a rainy day and create umbrellas to match.  It also comes with formats of a raindrop and teacher tips for how to create these colorful crafts.

4.  It’s Raining Ten Math Craftivity & Bulletin Board Bundle

It’s Raining Ten in Kindergarten!  My kiddos loved this one last year, and yours will too.  Students use raindrops to create different combinations of ten.  They write a matching number sentence and decorate their umbrellas as they wish.  This is a great lesson for teaching the making of ten.

5.  Earth Day Writing and Bulletin Board

I love this Earth Day Acrostic Poem.  Take your students’ pictures and attach to create the perfect Earth Day display.

6.  Be the Rainbow Bulletin Board Bundle

This bulletin board display can be used for so many things – kindness, spring, Women’s History Month, or just about any time of year.  Students write about how they can “be the rainbow in someone else’s cloud.”  They create rainbows to match.  You may use the editable clouds to type your students’ names for the top clouds as shown.

7.  Weather Writing Book

April is a great time for a weather theme in kindergarten.  These weather books have students write about what they like to do on different types of days.  This is the perfect way to integrate science and writing!

There you have it – 7 April activities for Kindergarten for after the break!  Who wants to spend the break doing lesson plans?  Not this teacher!

You can snag my April Mega Bundle that includes all of the above in my TPT Store today!
