1. Fun With Phonics Rectangle Carpet
We’ll begin the list with the rug I have in my own classroom – the Fun With Phonics Rectangle Carpet. It goes perfectly with my colorful classroom themes. I also like that there is a spot for every bottom! My kids learn about personal space, and they know that they have to stay within their rectangle. The border of the rug shows letters along with picture cues for the sounds. I have had this rug for a few years now, and it still looks brand new! I highly recommend this rug for any primary classroom!
2. Rainbow Mosaic Rug
Next on the list is this Rainbow Mosaic Rug. I love the simplicity of this colorful rug. Like the previous rug, this one also has a designated spot for each student.
3. Sunny Days Oval Carpet
Another favorite of mine is the Sunny Days Oval Carpet. I purchased this one years ago, and it has held up very well. I keep use this rainbow rug in my classroom library area. The alphabet is displayed along the border and numbers one to ten are featured on clouds in the center of the rug. This rug is great if you do circle time!

4. Group Colors Rug
My friend has this Group Colors Rug in her first grade classroom, and it looks great! It comes in different sizes so you can order the rug that seats all of your students.
5, Shapes Rug
Rounding out the list of my five favorite rainbow classroom rugs for kindergarten is this Shapes Rug! Sectioned spaces and colorful shapes make this rug a great one for an early childhood classroom.
