Summer Side-hustles for teachers

Welcome to another episode of  Teacher-preneur Talk.  This one is dedicated to summer side-hustles for teachers.  Many of my teacher friends look for ways to earn a little extra money part-time in the summer months without having to teacher summer school.  Over the years, I have had success supplementing my teacher income by creating and selling digital products online.  In the past two years, I have learned how to create additional online revenue streams.  In this post, I’ll share ways you can earn money online from your home in as little as 1 to 3 hours a day.

Side-hustles for Teachers: Earn Money on Social Media

You’re already on social media, so why not get paid for it?!  Don’t worry – You do not need a large following, and you don’t even have to show your face if you don’t want to.  Here are some ways I have earned extra money on social media platforms.

1. Get Paid to Post

This remote job is for social media enthusiasts who would love to earn an income from it.  If you use social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc, then you can apply for this job.  All you need to do is download pre-made content and post it on the social media account that is provided to you.

2. Post Pre-made Videos on YouTube

Do you enjoy watching travel vlogs on YouTube?  If so, you can make up to 950 dollars a week by uploading travel vlogs on YouTube without needing to travel.  It may sound too good to be true, but there is actually a job for this!  Here’s how it works.  Some travel vloggers are looking for ordinary YouTube users to upload content on their YouTube channels on their behalf.  You don’t have to travel anywhere to make videos because they are pre-made for you.  You just have to upload them on a YouTube channel.

3. Instagram Stories

If you love spending time on Instagram, you can make an income from it.  You don’t even need to learn any social media advertising skills or need to buy any expensive high-end device to make it happen.  There are tech companies out there looking to hire Instagram users to handle their Instagram business accounts.

4. TikTok

We all know that TikTok has become a worldwide sensation.  That’s why businesses cannot afford to ignore this huge opportunity to advertise their brands on the platform.  That’s how this social media job was born.  You can earn up to $175 a day uploading to TikTok!

5. YouTube Unboxing Videos

Last, but not least, on the list is this YouTube unboxing job.  This is how it works.  You’ll download pre-made unboxing video content sent to you by a company.  Then, you’ll upload that content to a YouTube channel provided, input the title, and receive up to $50 for each video.

Here’s Where to Start

First, CLICK HERE to get started earning money on social media this summer!  Next, you’ll take a short quiz that will match you to the social media work that’s perfect for you.  If you think this is a fit for you, there is a one-time training fee of $27 that walks you through every step of the process.  After that, you keep 100 percent of your profits.  In my own experience, the initial investment has been worth every penny because you will make that back and earn much more in a short time period.

Benefits of Social Media Side-Hustles for Teachers

Like TPT and other online platforms I have blogged about, this is not a get rich quick method.  What you put in is what you get out!  I feel that these social media side-hustles are a great way to supplement your teaching income especially in the summer months.  What I love is that you can do them from the comfort of your own home.  You can work as much or as little as you like while still enjoying the sunshine!

Overall, I hope this post has given you some ideas for doable side-hustles for teachers.
