If you follow the blog or Kindergarten Korner on social media, you know we are all about PURPOSEFUL classroom decor. Sure it can be pretty, BUT it must be educational and benefit students. We are excited to share with you our latest resource that does just that. Introducing the Realistic Photographs Alphabet Classroom Decor Set. In this post, we’ll share all the details plus the benefits of having this as a focal point in your pre-K, kindergarten, or first grade classroom.
Realistic Photographs Alphabet Classroom Decor
The Realistic Photographs Alphabet Classroom Decor Set includes the following:
- 26 Alphabet Posters (8.5″x 11″) with a colorful watercolors border
- 26 Alphabet Posters with a white border (no watercolors) to match any classroom decor or classroom color theme
This classroom decor package coordinates well with a rainbow classroom theme, a watercolors or brights classroom theme, OR any theme when you use the black and white version! You may print the posters smaller by adjusting your printer settings to 50% or your desired size. You may also tweak settings to add a white border on the edges or print borderless.
Teacher Tips for Using This Resource in Your Classroom
First, print, cut, and laminate your alphabet pages. Then, display in a row above the main bulletin board in your class for your students to reference daily.
By printing and laminating an extra set or two of the alphabet posters, you can use the poster pages as center activities. Students can use Play-Doh to create the letters by rolling it and placing it on top of the letter shown. They could use dry-erase markers to trace the letters as well. The posters also make great large visuals for reviewing letters and sounds with your students.
The Benefits of Purposeful Environmental Print
This purposeful classroom decor set will help students learn letter recognition, letter sounds, and letter formation as they associate the letters with real-life photos.
