After posting a picture of my classroom on Instagram, I received a handful of DMs about the Welcome to Kindergarten sign displayed on my bulletin board header. In this post, I’ll share how to create this display in your own kindergarten classroom…

Step 1: The Welcome Sign & Blank Notepads
To create this display, I used a combination of Schoolgirl Style’s Welcome Sign and Large Notepad Cutouts. I love Schoolgirl Style’s blank large accents because you can customize them with any text you like! You get 6 large notepads in a pack, so you will need two packs for the word “Kindergarten.”
Step 2: Adding the Rainbow Kindergarten Lettering
I created Rainbow Kindergarten Lettering for the large blank notepads. Simply print the lettering in color, cut, and glue the letters onto the notepads. Laminate if you wish.
Step 3: Creating your Welcome to Kindergarten Sign
Once you have the kindergarten rainbow lettering complete, it’s time to display it with the welcome sign. I used an additional blank notepad to write the word “to” as shown in the photo. The Schoolgirl Style black and white scalloped borders created the perfect frame for the display!
The Welcome to Kindergarten sign is the main focal point in my classroom, but it would work almost anywhere!

How can I get those large notepad cutouts they no longer have them😞
It was so difficult to figure this whole polka dot notepad and watercolor letter thing out. I have literally been trying to figure this out for the last few weeks. I did find the notepads in a Uprint file. I hope this helps!
