We’re in the home stretch, teacher friends! It can be challenging to keep the kids motivated this time of year. I have found that one of the best ways to keep engagement high is by pairing art projects with writing activities. In this post, I’m sharing my favorite three end of the year activities for Kindergarten.
1. Diving Into Summer End of the Year Writing and Craft
This Diving Into Summer activity is perfect for your last days of kindergarten (or first grade)! The resource includes both boy and girl scuba diver craft and writing templates. I use this activity on our annual Beach Day, and the kids love it! Writing options are included for diving into first grade, second grade, or summer!
2. End of the Year Memory Flip Book
These End of the Year Memory Flip Books are the perfect writing activity for the final days of school. Choose from 3 differentiated versions to accommodate beginner writers in preschool, kindergarten, or first grade. Print onto white or Astrobrights as shown. As a BONUS, have your students color the boy or girl coloring page and attach books to template as shown in the preview for the perfect Spring, End of Year, or Open House bulletin board display!
3. End of the Year Graduation Craft
Create the perfect Graduation Day display in a snap with this Graduation writing and craft! Choose from 4 writing templates to have students write about the best part of preschool, kindergarten, school, or use the blank templates to create your own prompt! Just print templates onto white card stock, and let the students do the rest!
