We Put the Kind in KINDergarten Heart Writing Flip Craft

Kindness Kindergarten

Another writing activity that makes the perfect Valentine’s Day and kindness display, is my We Put the Kind in KINDergarten resource.  I published this kindness children’s book last year, and we did this lesson right around Valentine’s Day.  The kids loved making the heart writing flip crafts writing about how they can put the kind in KINDergarten themselves.  This resource includes the custom bulletin board letters that make the most colorful kindness display.  I decided to leave the board shown below up all year long in my classroom!

Heart-Heart-Whole Valentine’s Day Math Bulletin Board AND Center

Valentine's Day Math

In addition to Valentine’s Day writing activities, I like to incorporate the holiday into math activities as well.  I designed this Heart-Heart-Whole Valentine’s Day Math Bulletin Board and Math Center to teach number bonds and number decomposition.  It comes with the flip craft in the photo above plus cards for an instant Valentine’s Day Math Center.  Learn more about this activity HERE.

There you have it – 4 of my favorite Valentine’s Day bulletin boards.  The best part is that all are adorable, yet PURPOSEFUL!  When learning meets art and fine motor skills, you can’t go wrong in kindergarten or first grade!
